Complimentary Consultations
Complimentary consultations are introductory conversations intended to help visitors learn about Dr. Mike’s general approach and determine whether the practice may be an appropriate fit.
A complimentary consultation does not include:

Individualized treatment
Emergency guidance
A prescription or medication recommendation
A complete evaluation of a health concern
Dr. Mike may recommend scheduling an examination or contacting another qualified healthcare professional.
Appointments and Scheduling
Winkels uses Setmore Health for online scheduling.
Appointment availability displayed online is not guaranteed. An appointment is not confirmed until it has been accepted or confirmed through the scheduling system or by the practice.
Patients are responsible for providing accurate scheduling and contact information.
Appointments generally require at least 24 hours’ notice when booking. Patients should also provide at least 24 hours’ notice when canceling or rescheduling.
Additional cancellation, missed-appointment, scheduling, and payment policies may be provided during booking or patient intake. Those more specific policies will control when they apply.
Fees and Payment
Winkels is a self-pay practice and does not directly bill health insurance unless the practice expressly states otherwise.
Patients are responsible for charges associated with services they authorize and receive.
